Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Hill Longhorns vs. DeSoto Eagles + How To Watch

Cedar Hill is 0-10 against DeSoto since November of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Longhorns will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Cedar Hill will be strutting in after a win while DeSoto will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Cedar Hill made easy work of Lancaster and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Cedar Hill might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lancaster scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 26-24.

Meanwhile, DeSoto came up short against Waxahachie on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 25-17 in the first set.

DeSoto started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-14.

DeSoto's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Cedar Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 13-16.

Cedar Hill suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to DeSoto in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Longhorns avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
