Volleyball Game Preview: Kellis Cougars vs. Lake Havasu Knights

The Kellis Cougars will head out to challenge the Lake Havasu Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Kellis lost 3-0 to Ironwood on Thursday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Kellis was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Ironwood's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Lake Havasu came up short against Willow Canyon on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.

Lake Havasu's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Kellis, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Kellis couldn't quite get it done against Lake Havasu in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
