Westland Hialeah lost to Ferguson back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 42-17 win. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Falcons on their field since November 4, 2021.

Westland Hialeah has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 43.5 points this season. As for Ferguson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Westland Hialeah will challenge Carol City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Ferguson, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southwest at 3:30 p.m. on the 19th.
