Basketball Recap: Itasca Takes a Loss

Itasca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 47-40 to the Life Waxahachie Mustangs. The Wampus Cats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Itasca's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Life Waxahachie, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Itasca will head out to face off against Bremond at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Life Waxahachie has already played their next game (against Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
