Volleyball Recap: Columbine Rebels vs. Brighton Bulldogs        
        
		
             Columbine had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Brighton Bulldogs out  2-1.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Columbine got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 24-26,  15-11.
  Sofia Screaton paced Columbine's offense, picking up eight kills. Screaton got some help from 
 Maddie Lynett and her 12 assists. Lynett was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
 When it comes to explaining why Brighton lost, don't look at  Codi Jackson. Despite the final result, she  had nine  digs.
 Columbine's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Brighton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
 Columbine has already played their next contest,  a  2-0  defeat against Castle View on the 2nd. As for Brighton, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  loss against Basalt on the 2nd.
