The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won four in a row.

Xavier Gardley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. KIPP King is 4-1 when Gardley posts two or more stolen bases, but 2-3 otherwise. Alfredo Bravo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1.

KIPP King's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Impact Academy of Arts & Technology, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
