With a playoff win on the line, Ider rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Oakwood Academy Mustangs 71-46. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Oakwood Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mya Awoniyi, who posted eight points and eight boards. Zeniyah Dulan was another key player, putting up six points.

Ider's win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Oakwood Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

Ider does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakwood Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Spring Garden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Garden will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Oakwood Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
