Softball Recap: Cypress Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cypress Christian can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the St. Joseph Flyers on Wednesday. The Warriors were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the five matchups prior), but the Flyers' pitcher proved too tough.

Cypress Christian moved to 8-8 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for St. Joseph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Cypress Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph, they will venture away from home to challenge The Woodlands Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
