Volleyball Recap: Coosa Comes Up Short

Coosa lost against Trion back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Carleigh Reece and Nash Noyes, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Anna Francis and her five assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Taegan Cline, racking up two apiece.

Coosa now has a losing record of 5-6.

Coosa has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sand Rock on the 23rd. As for Trion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Murray County on the 19th.
