The biggest upset of the week belonged to Newnan, who took down 40th ranked Newnan, 34-14.
Hughes extended the longest winning streak in AAAAAA Region 3 this week by beating the Cougars, 34-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Douglas County's Ellis Richardson and Anthony Graves have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Richardson has thrown for 1011 yards this season, while Graves has 25 catches for 363 yards. Hughes' Keion Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 345.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Panthers take on East Coweta. Hughes is currently in first, while the Indians are in third.
