Recap: Lehighton Indians vs. Northwestern Lehigh Tigers
The Lehighton Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They took a serious blow against Northwestern Lehigh, falling 58-14. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lehighton in their matchups with Northwestern Lehigh: they've now lost six in a row.
Brady O'donnell threw for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Lehighton bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.4 points per game. As for Northwestern Lehigh, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Lehighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northwestern Lehigh's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Notre Dame-Green Pond at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Notre Dame-Green Pond is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
