There's no place like home for Nordhoff, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Channel Islands Raiders on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won eight in a row.

Nordhoff walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-15.

Nordhoff's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Channel Islands, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
