Hand is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Tuesday. They came up short against Amity Regional, falling 3-0.

While Hand was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Amity Regional's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Law lost 3-0 to Cheshire on Tuesday. The Lawmen have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Law took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 27-25.

Law's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hand, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-7.

Hand was able to grind out a solid win over Law in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Lawmen's Ava Hayden, who had 29 kills and five digs.
