Volleyball Recap: Melstone Comes Up Short

Melstone and Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Melstone had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine.

Melstone's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Melstone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Belt at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
