Football Recap: Pulaski Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pulaski won the last time they faced Port Byron and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Devils enjoyed a cozy 33-18 win over the Panthers. The Blue Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pulaski to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Pello, who rushed for 143 yards and one TD, and also picked up 40 receiving yards. Dylan Scharoun was another key rusher, gaining 94 total yards and two touchdowns.

The victory (which was Pulaski's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points over those games. As for Port Byron, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pulaski will square off against Hannibal at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Port Byron, they will challenge Birdlebough at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
