Castor lost against Minden back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Castor Tigers lost 10-4 to the Minden Crimson Tide. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kaylie Shirley was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3. Those home runs marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Malorie Cooper, who scored a run and stole Two bases.

Shirley wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Castor lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Castor now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Minden, their win bumped their record up to 2-9-1.

Castor has already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Northwood on the 3rd. As for Minden, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 defeat against Quitman on the 3rd.
