Volleyball Recap: Quad City Christian Starts Season with Victory Against Pathway Christian

Quad City Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Pathway Christian Panthers 3-0 on Thursday.

Quad City Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pathway Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Pathway Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Noelle Nelson had 17 digs and one assist.

Pathway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Pathway Christian has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Galesburg Christian on the 26th. Hopefully Quad City Christian paid attention to Pathway Christian's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Pathway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
