Basketball Game Preview: Blue Springs Wildcats vs. Staley Falcons

The Blue Springs Wildcats will face off against the Staley Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Blue Springs saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blue Valley Southwest. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 228th in Missouri, while the Timberwolves are ranked 112th in Kansas).

Meanwhile, Staley waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Storm 58-22. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Staley pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.5 points. As for Blue Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
