After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paw Paw, Dowagiac was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Brandywine Bobcats by a score of 3-1. The Chieftains haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Dowagiac walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 17-25, 25-12.

Dowagiac's victory bumped their record up to 8-13-2. As for Brandywine, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8.

Dowagiac has already played their next contest (against Three Rivers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brandywine, they will face off against Lakeshore at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
