Softball Recap: McKinney Comes Up Short

McKinney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the McKinney Boyd Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

McKinney saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adyson Gaddis, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

McKinney's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24-1. As for McKinney Boyd, their record now sits at 16-11.

Coming up, McKinney will be playing at home against Plano East at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for McKinney Boyd, they will face off against Allen at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
