Recap: Booker T. Washington Warriors vs. Westwood Longhorns
The Booker T. Washington Warriors were the 38-20 winner over the Westwood Longhorns when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Booker T. Washington fell 22-14 to Westwood on Thursday. Booker T. Washington has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Irvin, who rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 159 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Dvan Scott, who picked up 113 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Westwood, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Booker T. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westwood is on the road again on Friday and play against Union County. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Union County is ranked 298th, while Westwood is ranked 315th).
