Oldenburg Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Rushville Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Twisters, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Oldenburg Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-6.

Rachel Suttmann paced Oldenburg Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Suttmann got some help from Campbell Miles and her nine assists. Suttmann was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Oldenburg Academy's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Rushville, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

Oldenburg Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lanesville on the 11th. As for Rushville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Roncalli on the 14th.
