Baseball Recap: Kingston Victorious

Kingston won against Calera on Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Redskins walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Rattan Rams. For the Redskins, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

The victory made it two in a row for Kingston and bumps their season record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Rattan, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.

Coming up, Kingston will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Marietta at 5:00 p.m. As for Rattan, they have already played their next contest, a 6-5 loss against McAlester on the 10th.
