Baseball Recap: Benzie Central Takes a Loss

Benzie Central suffered their biggest defeat since April 10th on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to the Bear Lake Lakers. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Lakers from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Benzie Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Brooks, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Benzie Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-1 record this season. As for Bear Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Benzie Central will look to defend their home field on Friday against Onekama at 4:15 p.m. As for Bear Lake, they are taking a road trip to square off against Buckley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
