Softball Recap: Grace Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Nine Games

It was a good run, but Grace Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 10-2 to the LaSalle Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since March 21st.

Rory Decker was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Sydney Avery was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for LaSalle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

Grace Christian will head out to take on Marksville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaSalle, they will host Harrisonburg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
