Baseball Recap: Hope Blue Wave vs. Woonsocket Villa Novans
Hope had lost three straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 3-9 to make it four. They lost 13-0 to the Woonsocket Villa Novans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Wave of the 13-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.
As for Woonsocket, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 8.8 runs thus far.
For Woonsocket's part, Patrick Munger made a big impact while hitting and pitching.
