Softball Recap: Tippecanoe Takes a Loss

Tippecanoe has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.29 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against the Spring Valley Timberwolves, falling 11-5.

Tippecanoe's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Spring Valley, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Tippecanoe will venture away from home to take on Bloom-Carroll at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spring Valley, they will challenge Wellston at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
