Basketball Game Preview: Scotland Christian Academy Saints vs. Living Water Christian Warriors

The Scotland Christian Academy Saints will venture away from home to challenge the Living Water Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Scotland Christian Academy came up short against Wilson Christian Academy and fell 59-50.

Meanwhile, Living Water Christian lost to Wayne Preparatory Academy at home by a 91-76 margin on Monday.

Scotland Christian Academy will need to focus on slowing down Jaiden Cooper, one of several Living Water Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Living Water Christian is 2-1 when Cooper posts 15 or more points, but 0-3 otherwise. Amari Moore was another key player, putting up 22 points and seven assists.

Scotland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Living Water Christian, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.

Scotland Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Living Water Christian in their previous meeting back in January, losing 92-78. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
