Georgia Military College is 9-1 against Glascock County since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. Georgia Military College is looking for their season's first win.

Georgia Military College is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Gatewood last Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Georgia Military College took a blow against Gatewood, falling 78-34. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-16.

Despite the defeat, Georgia Military College had strong showings from Benjamin Vaughn, who posted 13 points and four steals, and Thomas Adams, who earned seven points and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Glascock County ended up a good deal behind Briarwood Academy last Friday and lost 58-43. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 550th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 261st).

Georgia Military College's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Glascock County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Georgia Military College couldn't quite finish off Glascock County in their previous meeting back in February and fell 39-37. Can Georgia Military College avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
