Fairfield was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Jayden Bell did his best to prevent it. Bell struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) he has had since back in April.

Bell and Fairfield will square off against Steelton-Highspire at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Knights have been struggling at home and they will enter the contest having lost six straight home games.
