Volleyball Game Preview: Hilliard Darby Panthers vs. Westerville Central Warhawks

The Hilliard Darby Panthers will head out to face off against the Westerville Central Warhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Hilliard Darby came up short against Upper Arlington and fell 3-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hilliard Darby couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Upper Arlington a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 28-30, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Westerville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Olentangy Berlin.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-5, 25-11.

Hilliard Darby's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Westerville Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Hilliard Darby took their win against Westerville Central in their previous matchup on April 10th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
