Rosemead's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Gabrielino Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 back in April.

Sebastian Genie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Logan Mojica, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Rosemead has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Gabrielino, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season.
