Baseball Game Preview: Ashbrook Greenwave vs. Stuart W. Cramer Storm

Ashbrook is 0-10 against Stuart W. Cramer since June of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Greenwave will head out to square off against the Storm at 7:00 p.m. Ashbrook has given up an average of 13.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ashbrook is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to North Gaston.

Meanwhile, Stuart W. Cramer waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Huskies get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Storm have won four games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mason Price looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Stuart W. Cramer let Dylan Jennings and Aydan Bradley run wild. Jennings scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Bradley scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs Bradley has posted since back in April of 2024. David Palmeros also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Stuart W. Cramer was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Ashbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their record is now 7-5.

Ashbrook might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Stuart W. Cramer in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Greenwave avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
