Basketball Recap: Mountain Mission Takes a Loss

Mountain Mission played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 69-48 to the Shelby Valley Wildcats. The Challengers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-21.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain Mission lost, don't look at Annah Chacha. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 23 points and 15 boards. The contest was Chacha's fifth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Rasnake, who posted 14 points.

Mountain Mission's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Shelby Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-12.

Mountain Mission didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-41 victory against State Line HomeSchool R on the 25th. Shelby Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
