Calvary Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 63-42 margin over the Warner Christian Academy Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Leading Calvary Christian Academy to victory were Adonis Thompson and Dante Lewis. Thompson posted 15 points, while Lewis earned 12 points. Another player making a difference was Samuel Hughes, who put up eight points.

Coming up, Calvary Christian Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Florida Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warner Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 5.
