Basketball Recap: Armwood Hawks vs. Brandon Eagles

The Armwood Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Brandon 82-35 on the road. That 47 point margin sets a new team best for Armwood this season.

Talon Mckinnie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 13 points along with eight steals and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Jaberry Nereus, who scored 15 points.

The win makes it two in a row for Armwood and bumps their season record up to 7-17. As for Brandon, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-20.

Armwood will take on the Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomingdale is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for Brandon, they will square off against the Tigers at TBD on Tuesday. Jesuit presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Eagles in Florida (the Tigers are ranked 86th, while the Eagles are ranked 741st).
