Football Recap: Central Crossing Takes a Loss

Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the New Albany Eagles and fell 47-0. The Comets were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Central Crossing's record now sits at 0-8. As for New Albany, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Central Crossing will take on Westerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Albany, they will square off against Pickerington North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
