Game recap: Pasco high school football team keeps rolling by besting Hudson

Pasco (Dade City, Fla.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 63-0 victory over Hudson (Fla.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Nate Craig in the first quarter, the Pirates led 49-0 at the half.

Pasco expanded its lead to 56 points entering the fourth quarter. PHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown pass by Grant Starling to Phillip Wilson.

Brandon Ray stood out for the Dade City school in the win. The sophomore wide receiver caught one touchdown and kicked nine extra points.

The Pirates came into the game allowing 1.4 points per game. The Cobras' zero points were well below their season average of 8.6 per game.



A 70-0 Pasco victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

In a 5A District 6 game next week Pasco (6-0) takes on Fivay, and Hudson (1-5) will go up against Wesley Chapel also in a 5A District 6 game.
