Game recap: Grant High School Football Team tops Douglas

PORTLAND, Ore. - Grant (Portland, Ore.) got back to .500 with its 36-20 victory over Douglas (Portland, Ore.) on Saturday.

The Generals were up 21-0 at the half after taking the lead on a Mikale Carter touchdown run in the first quarter.

Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 21.

Sam Davis was the top performer for Grant. He threw three touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.



The win was a nice bounce back for GHS, which lost to Aloha last week, 24-16.

Douglas (4-5) goes up against South Umpqua in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Grant (4-4) locks horns with Lincoln in a 6A Special District 2 game.
