Softball Recap: Urbana Hillclimbers vs. Triad Cardinals
Urbana's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Triad Cardinals by a score of 10-6. This was a revenge game for the Hillclimbers: when they faced off against the Cardinals on Saturday, they had to take a 13-3 defeat.
Isla Wooten made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Wooten was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.
