Basketball Recap: Charlotte Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Grace Clark and Gabby Eboboko

Charlotte Christian was the 58-34 winner over South Charlotte when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Charlotte Christian Knights fell 37-26 to the South Charlotte Thunder on Tuesday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Charlotte Christian had strong showings from Gabby Eboboko, who posted eight points, and Grace Clark, who earned eight points.

Charlotte Christian's record now sits at 2-7. As for South Charlotte, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.

Charlotte Christian and South Charlotte could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. Charlotte Christian (ranked 416th) will meet Ravenscroft (ranked 197th) at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Similarly, South Charlotte will face off against Chatham HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday down 287 places (395 vs. 108).
