Volleyball Recap: Riverbank Comes Up Short

If Riverbank was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Waterford on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins came up short against the River Islands Riptide on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Riptide apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-20.

Riverbank dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for River Islands, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Riverbank has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Denair on the 2nd. As for River Islands, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Patterson on the 29th.
