Volleyball Recap: Riverbank Takes a Loss

If Riverbank was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Waterford on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins lost 3-0 to the River Islands Riptide on Thursday. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Riptide apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-20.

Riverbank's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for River Islands, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverbank will take on Stone Ridge Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for River Islands, they will challenge Patterson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
