Basketball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Midland Chemics lost to the Linden Eagles at home by a 73-56 margin. While losing is never fun, the Chemics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Eagles are ranked 113th).

This is the second loss in a row for Midland and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Linden, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midland will be home for the holidays to greet Dow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Linden, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Yale at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th.
