Queen Creek found their leader in freshman Amaya Rodgers, who posted 23 points and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rodgers has scored at least a third of Queen Creek's points. Jasmine Kraus was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Queen Creek's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Highland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8.
