The Cranston West Falcons will head out on the road to take on the East Greenwich Avengers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cranston West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Cranston West sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over St. Raphael Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for Cranston West.

Meanwhile, East Greenwich faced Cumberland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. East Greenwich fell just short of Cumberland by a score of 5-4.
Cranston West's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for East Greenwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Everything went Cranston West's way against East Greenwich in their previous meeting back in April as Cranston West made off with a 9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cranston West since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
