With a playoff game on the line, Hamilton rose to the challenge on Thursday. They skirted past the Highland Hawks 3-2. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August.

Hamilton wouldn't go down easily and took Highland into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-19, 19-25, 15-9.

Hamilton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October.

Despite the loss, Highland still got an impressive performance from Alyx Daugherty, who had 14 digs and two aces. Daugherty has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-15 record this season. As for Highland, they moved to 31-10 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
