Edison saw some tournament action  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Ardsley Panthers as they made off with  a  9-2 victory. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven  runs or more this season.
 Aurora Parlo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Kailey Ripley, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  triple, one  run,  and one  double. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Maycie Bennett, who  went 1-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double.
Edison's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Ardsley,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will challenge Spencer-Van Etten/Candor at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Ardsley, they will venture away from home to  take on Sleepy Hollow  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
