Soccer Recap: Elmore County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Elmore County challenged Chilton County on Thursday. The Elmore County Panthers came up short against the Chilton County Tigers, falling 5-2. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

Tate McNeely wasn't going to let Chilton County walk away unscathed as he scored both of Elmore County's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Elmore County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Chilton County, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Elmore County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will square off against Booker T. Washington Magnet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chilton County, they will square off against Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
