Hilton Head Island saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skyla Ward, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave Ward a new career-high.

Hilton Head Island's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Beaufort, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
